"I gave the title of the film (Avatar)". Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta while some said Govinda probably referred to Bollywood's 1983 film Avtaar.

But that's not the best part: Govinda actually went on to reject the Hollywood director as he felt making the film would take close to seven years, and he wasn't comfortable with his body being painted for a schedule for 410 days. But I told Cameron that it would easily take 7-8 years to complete the film, and that really frustrated him. In an interview with Rajat Sharma, Govinda revealed that he was offered a key role in all-time blockbuster film Avatar and suggested the tile to James Cameron. "That infuriated him (kidding)!" Woh ishwar ka ansh hai aur apang hai...maine kaha ki yeh nahi hoga.

Coincidentally, Govinda was also a part of a Hindi film, "Avatar" in 2012, nearly three years after Cameron's "Avatar" arrived in theatres; however, the Bollywood film never saw its release. So I apologized for declining and left.

Cubs acquire reliever Phelps from Blue Jays
We won't have long to wait to find out what the Cubs do next, as just over 24 hours remain before Wednesday's deadline. He turns 25 in September and has struggled this season in his second stint in Tennessee (4.59 ERA, 1.41 WHIP).

Well, on the show Aap Ki Adalat, hosted by Rajat Sharma, Govinda revealed that he was offered a role in James Cameron's movie Avatar and that it was him who had suggested the director the title as well. "And as predicted by me, the film released eight or nine years later and was a super hit", he further added.

On the professional front, Govinda was last seen in Rangeela Raja co-starring Mishika Chourasia and Anupama Agnihotri.

Released in 2009, "Avatar" became the highest-grossing film worldwide and remained so for nearly a decade, before being overtaken by "Avengers: Endgame" in 2019. The film was directed by Sikander Bharti and produced and written by Pahlaj Nihalani.
