New York Rangers sign ‘so excited’ Jacob Trouba to seven-year $56 million deal By Ian Oland  0 Comment

The New York Rangers have agreed to terms on a new deal with defenceman Jacob Trouba, avoiding arbitration with the restricted free agent. It has an average annual value of $8 million.

The deal reached Friday with Trouba, 25, is for seven years and $56 million USA, with an $8 million salary cap hit for the upcoming season.

He was acquired by the Rangers in a trade with the Jets on June 17 in exchange for Winnipeg's own first-round pick and defenceman Neal Pionk.

The mum began by explaining she nurses her baby to calm her in transit and make her feel more comfortable. A breastfeeding mother-of-one has taken to social media after being told to "cover up" on an aeroplane .

The Jets traded Trouba after they were unable to come to terms with him on a long-term contract.

Selected with the ninth pick in the 2012 NHL Draft, Trouba has 179 points in 408 regular-season games for the Jets over six seasons, adding six points in 27 post-season contests. He has 179 points (42 goals, 137 assists) in 408 National Hockey League games, all with the Jets, and six points (two goals, four assists) in 27 playoff games. It's very first-class organization. And ultimately, the result turned out to be the same as it is for the majority of players who get to a hearing with their teams: They eventually get shipped out.
