Pacquiao camp denies Khan claims over Saudi Arabia bout

The senator from the Philippines (60-7-2, 39 KOs) who boasts an impressive and lengthy career, is the only sitting congressman and senator to win a world title, and faces his most risky challenger yet, especially since the seasoned fighter is 10 years older.

Pacquiao then ended the interview with a short but very powerful statement claiming that the only fighter who can defeat a Manny Pacquiao is Manny Pacquiao himself. "No matter how he does against Thurman I still think it's a big fight".

However, Pacquiao's spokesperson Fred Sternberg told BBC Sport that "Manny has not signed any contract".

After stopping Dib, Khan set his sights on Pacquiao, who takes on Keith Thurman at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for the WBA super welterweight title on Saturday night.

He said: "The next fight is going to be back in Saudi Arabia, it is going to be in Riyadh this time and it is going to be on 8 November".

"If he gets injured or loses, what happens there?"

Asked what will happen if Pacquiao loses to Thurman, Khan added: "I still think it's a big fight out there".

British Airways suspends flights to Cairo for 7 days as ‘precaution’
Before regular flights between Moscow and Cairo were resumed in April 2018, Egypt had to seriously enhance security at airports. BBC Afrique's Pierre-Antoine Denis, in Cairo, reports that all other airlines that use the airport are operating normally.

"We are friends", he added. That is why I want to fight him.

"The respect is always there but it is a business and sometimes friends have to fight each other".

"With a healthy Manny Pacquiao, no injuries, the story will be different, so let's see if Floyd decides to come back when he sees Manny". "For me his boxing tactics are predictable", said Thurman in a press conference.

And following his 32nd professional victory, he addressed his desire to fight Pacquiao but insists he'll not wait around. "That was caused by Keith Thurman and we will have to thank him, because the instinct returned", said Roach.

On Tuesday afternoon, the former WBA and IBF light-welterweight champion declared both he and "Pacman" had signed off to fight one another in Saudi Arabia this November.

"By speaking out on Saudi Arabia's abysmal human rights record, Amir can show some support for those being repressed in the country and also help counteract the intended "sports washing" that the Saudi authorities clearly hope will occur when they host events like this one".
