The Manchester Evening News says the deal is worth almost $138 million over six years, with Manchester United fending off interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

De Gea did not have the best of times last season as United finished 6th in the Premier League with a healthy 32 points gap between the Red Devils and champions Manchester City.
