There's Evidence Bond 25 Is Bringing Back Blofeld After All

Christoph Waltz as Blofeld in Spectre

After supposedly being spotted by someone visiting the Bond 25 set, Waltz said, "You haven't seen me".

Joining Waltz, Seydoux and 007 himself, Daniel Craig, are fellow Spectre stars Ralph Fiennes, Jeffrey Wright, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear and Naomie Harris, while Malek is joined by fellow franchise newcomers Ana De Armas, Lashana Lynch, David Dencik, Billy Magnussen and Dali Benssalah.

The first time Christoph Waltz's return to James Bond was revealed came in April when The Playlist reporter Rodrigo Perez appeared on the 007 podcast The Words Are Not Enough and discussed the likelihood of his villain Blofeld being part of the proceedings.

Daniel Craig is not expected to play Bond again after this film. Telly Savalas would then play him in 1969's On Her Majesty's Secret Service (my favourite incarnation), while Charles Gray would take up the role in 1971's Diamonds Are Forever. Seen only from behind, he was portrayed by actor Anthony Dawson (who had previously played Professor Dent in 1962's Dr. No), with Blofeld's voice provided by character actor Eric Pohlmann; the pair returned to the role, with Blofeld's face once again obscured, in 1965's Thunderball. No info has leaked out about Waltz's role in Bond 25 (which still doesn't have an official name as of writing), but you can't imagine he would be the focus of the action, especially with Rami Malek playing the villain of the piece.

Robert Mueller public hearing may be delayed one week
Under the current agreement, Mueller would appear for two hours each before the Judiciary and Intelligence Committees. Kennedy said Mueller may be "exercising more wisdom than zeal" and trying to avoid the "political trap".

But for now, we should just keep our fingers crossed that production on James Bond 25 can actually finish up without anymore hiccups. That aspect of the film is not changing.

"The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with unsafe new technology".

Cary Joji Fukunaga will direct the film which features a script written by Neal Purvis & Robert Wade, Scott Z. Burns with Cary Joji Fukunaga and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

Bond 25 (which I hope gets an official title soon so that I can stop calling it by that clumsy name) is now in production and is scheduled for release on 8 April 2020.
