Luck informed the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday that he plans to retire from the league, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Luck will have a press conference on Sunday to make it official.

Luck has most recently struggled to recover from a lower left leg injury. Though the team remained optimistic about his return - and wanted to name a starter following the game this week - Luck has apparently made up his mind.

Luck, who turns 30 in September, won NFL Comeback Player of the Year for his performance last season.

Facebook was initially concerned about Cambridge Analytica's potential use of "scraping", a method of pulling online data. According to Facebook , the first indication of Kogan's involvement didn't come until December 2015 , three months later.

Meanwhile, Brissett has played exceptionally in Luck's absence, including an 8-for-10, 100 yard performance against the Browns in the team's second preseason game.

Luck's former coach Chuck Pagano made his first return to Lucas Oil Stadium since he was sacked as the Colts' head coach following the 2017 season.

Indianapolis, widely considered a vogue Super Bowl pick, has the moderately experienced Jacoby Brissett as its backup quarterback.
