Promoted Aston Villa earned their first Premier League points of the season with a 2-0 win over Everton thanks to goals from Wesley and Anwar El Ghazi at Villa Park on Friday (Aug 23).

The 31-year-old's performances on the pitch were recently rewarded by the club with a one-year contract extension. It's a great club and the fans are unbelievable.

"He's going into the previous year of his contract so it's always important that there's some longevity there".
