This information was revealed by the company's co-founder and CEO Pete Lau in September of a year ago. Fast forward to August this year, reports mention a possible September launch for the OnePlus smart TV, based on Bluetooth certifications and unnamed sources.

As for where will the company launch its television, it is expected to any of the three countries -the US, India or China.

Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus' smart TV will likely come in variable sizes, and be launched in September across China, India and the United States, according to a listing filed on Bluetooth SIG. The exact date could be September 26, but plans can change and there's no official confirmation yet.

The company's TVs could be launched in China, India, and the USA, as revealed through Bluetooth SIG documents. Supporting documents from the BIS certification show that OnePlus is using panels from TV Display Technologies for at least one of the TVs in the line-up.

Telfair, who was a first-round pick by the Trail Blazers in the 2004 draft, is a former 14-year journeyman in the league. Telfair was convicted of one count of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon in April following a jury trial.

Little under a year after Lau announced the OnePlus TV, details about the OnePlus TV are scarce. Just recently, the OnePlus TV was spotted on Bluetooth SIG ahead of the imminent launch. The listing describes the TVs as a "unique Android TV", which will feature LED display technology and come in variable sizes ranging from 43 to 75 inches.

The TVs are expected to host the latest Bluetooth 5.0 providing a unique Android TV experience that would combine customised user interface and apps. Although there's no way of telling what that means, Lau already mentioned that the OnePlus TV would have the specs to match its competitors.

In India, the smart TV might be launching through Amazon. It won't be surprising if the OnePlus TV came with 4K HDR support along with a built-in smart AI assistant. But the speculation of its release was finally clarified by the listing of OnePlus TV on Bluetooth SIG trying to certify its product before the launch. The company intends to provide substance and style to the TVs to produce great picture quality, immersive audio, and elegant designing. The company will also equip its TV with AI-powered voice assistant, but at this time, it isn't clear if it will be Google Assistant, Alexa, or an in-house solution.
