Jim Irsay: Luck's injury more than calf strain

Indianapolis Colts general manager Chris Ballard said quarterback Andrew Luck's calf strain has become a high-ankle issue.

In an interview with SiriusXM NFL Radio, Irsay said Luck has a bone issue in his lower left leg.

"I think after the (Kevin) Durant things (that) everyone's erring on the side of caution, but quite frankly this is not even in the Achilles tendon", Irsay said. "It's in another area". It's a bone. You know I'm not good at these things. He missed all of organized team activities and spring practices and has made just a few appearances at training camp in a limited capacity.

The revelation adds to the big question: when will luck be ready to play?
