Need For Speed Heat Official Gameplay

Need For Speed Heat was announced last week and tonight during the Gamescom Open Night Live we got to see some official gameplay of Need For Speed Heat. It expands on the cops-versus-racer fantasy established in the reveal trailer, explores day and night races, and gives us our first look at Heat's expanded vehicle customization.

Need for Speed Heat will feature sanctioned races during the daytime, where you can use the rewards to tweak your car's performance and outfit your ride with various visual enhancements. The more "heat" you have on you, the more the cops will be looking to slow you down, however.

Prince Andrew rejects involvement in Epstein sex scandal
At the time, the duke was the U.K.'s special representative for trade, a role he quit the following year. He had pled not guilty to sex trafficking and conspiracy charges, and was held without bail.

Though some aspects of Need for Speed: Heat appear to be a touch cringe (the whole street racing culture thing for kewl doods feels horrendously 2007), EA's heart at least appears to be in the right place with the publisher confirming that Need for Speed: Heat will not have loot boxes of any kind. Along with customizing your vehicle, you'll also be able to dress up your avatar as you see fit, complete with what I assume is officially licensed apparel.

Need for Speed: Heat releases on PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 8, 2019.
