Redskins are digging in for Trent Williams fight

Speaking to ESPN's Josina Anderson, the running back said Williams' continued holdout while seeking a new contract is impacting the team "tremendously".

Schefter reported on Monday evening that several teams have repeatedly called Washington, inquiring about trading for the 31-year-old who is holding out from the Redskins, but Washington has showed no interest in dealing Williams. In fact, at present, they reportedly don't have plans to move him.

The team believes training camp fines of $40,000 per day will force Williams to eventually relent and report.

There doesn't appear to a reasonable resolution to the dispute between Trent Williams and the Washington Redskins. "You go from not having to worry about the blind-side at all, to having to chip on that side, add a TE there which changes what you do".

Peterson says that above all, it's hampering the progress of rookie first-round pick Dwayne Haskins. Guys are coming off the edge in practices right there on the QB and the RB.

CannTrust Ontario facility gets non-compliant rating from Health Canada
Its the second recent instance where CannTrust was found by Health Canada to be operating in non-compliant facilities. CannTrust continued to slide on Monday after Health Canada deals the company yet another blow.

"I wouldn't be surprised if he comes back, and I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't", he said.

Williams' frustration stems from the diagnosis of a benign tumor on his scalp, which needed to be surgically removed.

The star offensive tackle has been demanding a trade for some time now, and the Redskins haven't budged all that much.

It will soon start costing Williams money, however.
