Huawei's next smartwatch has leaked and it doesn't run Wear OS

Huawei Watch GT 2 leak reveals better features and still no Wear OS

Huawei launched the Watch GT smartwatch nearly a year ago at an event in London alongside the Mate 20 series. Today, WinFuture leaked the renders of the upcoming Huawei Watch GT 2. Other differences might include a thinner design and larger display, with the crown possibly a bit smaller relative to the Watch GT's. Like the original, Huawei's next wearable looks very much like a traditional watch thanks to a combination of the two-button system, round face, and overall shape of the aluminum casing. The Watch GT 2 will employ a mic and speaker as well, which means you might be able to make calls directly on it - and that makes us wonder whether it has a version with some sort of cellular connectivity. The GT 2 doesn't try to reinvent the wheel, instead it brings a few solid, if minor, improvements compared to its predecessor. The smartwatch is said to have a heavy focus on fitness, with the heart rate monitor from the first iteration making a comeback, alongside support for tracking multiple activities, including hiking, swimming, cycling and running.

PSG agree loan signing of Neymar’s replacement
With the European transfer window now about to slam shut, it appears that the Argentine's troubled spell at the Nerazzurri in recent times might finally be coming to a close too.

Through official channels the Huawei Watch GT was never available here but it was given away asa "free gift" and some importers also sold it. And it seems likely that the trend will continue, with the Watch GT 2 sporting an updated version of LiteOS.
