Maleficent Mistress of Evil Featurette Highlights Angelina Jolie's Portrayal
Walt Disney Pictures has released a brand new behind-the-scenes featurette for their upcoming fantasy sequel Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, highlighting Oscar victor Angelina Jolie's incredible portrayal of the titular evil protagonist. Jolie is set to reprise her role of the evil witch "Maleficent" from the 2014 blockbuster in the upcoming sequel.

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil also stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Elle Fanning, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Ed Skrein, Robert Lindsay, Harris Dickinson, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple, and Lesley Manville. Their relationship, born of heartbreak, revenge and ultimately love, has flourished.
When an unexpected encounter introduces a powerful new alliance, Maleficent and Aurora are pulled apart to opposing sides in a Great War, testing their loyalties and causing them to question whether they can truly be family. The film which is helmed by Joachim Rønning is slated to release on October 18, this year. It is produced by Joe Roth, Angelina Jolie and Duncan Henderson with Matt Smith, Jeff Kirschenbaum and Michael Vieira serving as executive producers.
