Chloe Fineman, Shane Gillis and Bowen Yang join this season according to an NBC press release, and a tweet from the show's official account. However, it seems like she may be the only cast member leaving at this time.

Yang also has a large Twitter presence, and is known for his lip-syncing.

And from the world of sketch comes Chloe Fineman a Groundlings vet and a former New Face from Just for Laughs in 2018.

Supreme Court is set to consider next week whether the shutdown should be reversed, after conflicting rulings in lower courts. Last week the High Court in London said the decision was inherently political and "not a matter for the courts".

Leslie Jones, who joined the show after it was criticized in 2013 for the absence of an African-American woman among its regular or featured players, is focusing on stand-up and movies and won't be back this season. She has appeared on episodes of Search Party, Jane the Virgin, Grown-ish and Mozart in the Jungle.

Gillis was recognized this year as a New Face at the Just for Laughs Festival. Yang is one half of the runaway hit podcast Las Culturistas which has become a genuine cultural phenomenon. He cohosts Matt and Shane's Secret Podcast and appears regularly on The Bonfire on Sirius XM. Fleabag star Phoebe Waller-Bridge is scheduled to host on October 5 with musical guest Taylor Swift, and Stranger Things star David Harbour will host on October 12 with musical guest Camila Cabello. Other hosts already announced for this season include returning host Kristen Stewart and Lorne Michaels's supposed "white whale" Eddie Murphy.

There'll be three new faces on "Saturday Night Live" when the popular NBC sketch show returns on September 28.
