Renée Zellweger felt a `sense of responsibility` in `Judy`

If there's one positive thing 2019 has given us, it's the reemergence of Renée Zellweger (and maybe Cookie Monster and Lizzo's kinship).

Zellweger has previously denied undergoing surgery, saying in a statement that she was "living a different, happy, more fulfilling life".

One of the film's most striking moments comes during a concert sequence when Zellweger channels Garland to perform "Somewhere Over the Rainbow", which she first sang as a teenager in "The Wizard Of Oz" yet later took on a far deeper poignancy in her later years as her signature song.

"It sort of changes form as we go through our lives", she said.

"They were talking about Hollywood and how Hollywood ladies are so silly, especially that Renée Zellweger", Zellweger told SiriusXM's Jess Cagle during a Town Hall session. "But you sight correct admire yourself!' And I acknowledged, 'Yeah, it's comical how that works, isn't it?'" "I did not know until this kissing scene and I look at him with horror and I realise, 'Am I more upset that I got that on his face - and we haven't cut so I can't be touching his face in a way to try and get it of - or that it's attached to my head and there's so much more where that came from?'"

Win or lose, Jayapal says it's time to impeach Trump
But Judiciary Democrats offered mixed signals about how much - if at all - the resolution will shape their investigation. Additionally, it would permit evidence to be received in a closed executive session.

"All of our affection and admiration for Judy sort of felt very alive in that moment, and thinking of what that song meant to her at that time in her life, and the nostalgia we all sort of feel about it now", Zellweger added.

"I would spend hours on the 405 and 101 [freeways] listening to her". Anyway, here's my stop, ' " Zellweger went on. "So you kind of feel a sense of responsibility to represent that as authentically as possible", Zellweger said.

"It's only momentarily where you go, 'Jeez, wow, that's pretty painful.' But I don't live in that. I think otherwise I would have just run away".

The 2014 appearance that set off comments about Renée Zellweger's face. I don't seek it out.

"You know, I have dogs and they have to have shots and they need pills twice a day", she said. "I have other things to do", she joked.
