Half as many Democrats will compete in the third debate compared to the second DNC debate in Detroit earlier this summer.

The debate can also be streamed live via the Election Central mobile app available here for iOS and Android.

Due to the candidate participation requirements being set much higher than the first two debates, there will only be a total of 10 candidates on stage and the debate will take place on one night.

There will be opening statements from candidates, but no closing ones.

Many of these candidates may not get the chance to improve on their current standings, however, during Thursday's third Democratic primary debates.

Moderators include ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos, "World News Tonight" anchor David Muir, ABC News correspondent Linsey Davis and Univision anchor Jorge Ramos.

ABC News will also livestream the debate beginning at 7 PM ET on its 24/7 digital site ABC News Live as well as ABC.com and the ABC app. Univision News will also livestream the debate on its digital platforms including Facebook, YouTube and Periscope.

Joe Biden is losing steam ahead of the third primary debates as the same amount of registered Democratic voters said in a poll released Wednesday that they would vote for Elizabeth Warren as Biden. In addition to being one of Biden's top challengers in polls, Warren has also had longstanding policy disagreements with Biden, dating back to a 2005 bill that made it more hard for people to file for bankruptcy. So this is the first time their dueling visions for the Democratic Party's future will be contrasted onstage.

Notably, the credibility that the general electorate extends to Warren is not replicated with Senator Bernie Sanders, despite their similar approaches to public policy.

As Vox notes, every candidate who qualified for tonight's debate is automatically qualified for the October debate as well.

How many candidates will there be?

Increased qualification criteria and several drop outs culled the primary field down from the 20 candidates who debated at The Fox Theatre. Cory Booker; South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg; Vermont Sen.
