Chosen 25 star Scottie Barnes is headed to Florida State

Graduate of University of Delaware.

Two weeks after an official visit to Tallahassee, Scottie Barnes has committed to Florida State.

Barnes is ranked No. 9 overall in the class of 2020 by 247Sports, and he's also high school teammates at Montverde Academy (Fla.) with Cade Cunningham, who is ranked No. 2 overall in the 2020 class and is Kentucky's top remaining target in that group.

Instead, he'll play for Florida State, which has also made him a major priority since the early stages of his recruitment.

"They really talk to me a lot", Barnes told ESPN over the weekend about Florida State.

Ms Sacoolas was interviewed by police about the deadly incident but flew back to the USA after claiming diplomatic immunity. Family spokesman Radd Seiger described the White House meeting as "absolutely extraordinary" and "unprecedented".

Barnes, a 6-foot-8 small forward, chose the Seminoles over several other offers, including Miami, Oregon and Kentucky.

This summer, Barnes thrived at the point with NightRydas Elite (Florida), averaging 20 points, 7.6 rebounds and seven assists a game and had an assist-to-turnover ratio of almost 3-to-1.

"At the next level, because of my IQ and vision on the floor, I really see myself in the future being a point guard", Barnes said.

As for the insanely dynamic Scottie Barnes, not only do all reputable recruiting service outlets have Scottie Barnes pegged as a five-star caliber player, but almost all agree he's one of the two or three best in the entire 2020 recruiting class. "But I can play multiple positions, being a versatile player". Walker picked the Seminoles.

FSU coach Leonard Hamilton has developed quite a reputation as an ace recruiter during his time at FSU, but Barnes is among the most highly-touted since his arrival.
