Washington facing different challenge against Arizona

In a way, this game nearly felt cathartic for Huskies fans as they needed to have something go their way before the Ducks come to town on Saturday and after the offense struggled to start the game, the second half turned into a dream and much more. Outside of a 44-yard first quarter scamper by Sean McGrew, they rushed for 25 yards and 1.5 yards per carry.

Then the half ended, and the offense finally arrived.

If was quite the offensive performance after a rough first half.

Arizona (4-2, 2-1) had its four-game win streak snapped.

But in the first quarter on Saturday, UW blocked a punt, recovered a separate muffed punt, ripped off a 44-yard run ...

For Husky fans, Washington's red zone issues must grow more worrisome by the week. They responded with a field goal from 50 yards.

Washington's defense came to play, and showed off their pass rush prowess against the always unsafe Khalil Tate, recording four sacks and nine total tackles for loss.

But fear not: that wouldn't be the last time Eason reached the end zone on Saturday night. Midway through the second quarter, Arizona quarterback Khalil Tate was flushed out of the pocket and corralled by senior defensive lineman Benning Potoa'e. Senior linebacker Brandon Wellington scooped it up and barreled in for his second touchdown of the season. He couldn't find any of his usual running room and finished with minus-28 yards on the ground.

Rajnath Singh's "Suggestion" To Imran Khan Involves Army Going To Pak
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will arrive in Pakistan on a two-day visit on October 23, diplomatic sources said Thursday. Singh told Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan that India was ready to assist in curbing terror on its soil.

After a quick three-and-out by the Huskies, Arizona would score again, as Tate and the Wildcats went 68 yards in nine plays, capped by a J.J.

Arizona bounced back on the ensuing drive when Tate hit Jamarye Joiner for a 40-yard touchdown pass. Taylor touchdown run to give Arizona the lead at 17-13 with 1:06 to go in the half.

OK, so that might not be entirely accurate.

Trailing 17-13, Washington scored on four of their first, five drives, picking up three touchdowns and a field goal. Redshirt freshman tight endJack Westover had his first catch and touchdown for the first, and running back Salvon Ahmed scored the first of his three.

Fuller had the first touchdown of the fourth off a spectacular throw from Jacob Eason.

The Wildcats were hurt by four turnovers, including three lost fumbles.

Washington made a few big plays on special teams in the first quarter but squandered a chance to take a big early lead.
