Kansas apologizes for Snoop Dogg show

This comes after the rapper brought out strippers, used a fake gun to shoot money with his face, and used profanity during the performance.

Snoop performed at the end of the athletic department's "Late Night in the Phog" preseason celebration following scrimmages by the men's and women's basketball teams.

"We apologize for the Snoop Dogg performance at Late Night", Long said. He performed the explicit versions of his hits and also had multiple pole dancers performing alongside him at points during the show. In September, just a few days after the program was charged with a lack of institutional control and Bill Self was alleged to have an improper ties to Adidas, Self seemingly trolled the NCAA by wearing an Adidas shirt and a money chain to promote Snoop Dogg's upcoming performance. "We strive to create a family atmosphere at Kansas and fell short of that this evening", said Long.

Apparently the school's unofficial response to NCAA scrutiny needs a parental advisory.

Campaign Confirms Bernie Sanders Suffered Heart Attack
His campaign confirmed Friday that the 2020 Democratic presidential hopeful experienced a heart attack earlier this week. Sanders and his doctors do not indicate whether his heart suffered any permanent damage, or the extent of any.

Predictably, the folks at Kansas issued an apology Saturday morning.

Kansas men's basketball coach Bill Self missed the majority of the performance after returning to the locker room, but he said he was caught off guard by some of its content after being told it would be "radio edited".

Self, to his credit, is well aware that perception matters right now more than at any point in his career after Kansas received a Notice of Allegations from the NCAA on September 23 that cited major violations and painted his.

He added: "I've heard from some people that bad publicity is better than no publicity".
