The band will remains above board on a boat in full make-up and costumes as part of an Airbnb promotion. The company reportedly explained that the event is designed in order for people to perform for animals, instead of having animals perform for people.

KISS, pictured here performing in Oslo, Norway, in June, is scheduled to perform underwater in Australia in November.

The band, using underwater speakers, will begin to play, and the sound will be audible to the submerged fans and the sharks.

"Since we're going to be in Australia, it gives a whole new meaning to doing a concert down under", Stanley said.

And what's perhaps even more adorable is Grover's reaction to the sweet birthday wishes. Who's turning 100? lovely age!

Online accommodations platform Airbnb has orchestrated a very unusual experience for mid-November: a rock concert given in the Indian Ocean meant to attract great white sharks, and it's none other than the group Kiss who will perform for a few guests and some members of the world's largest predatory fish species.

"I'm not sure how much of us the sharks can take", Stanley joked to the AP.

All experiences will follow a progressive new animal welfare policy, created in conjunction with World Animal Protection, that includes no contact with wild animals and no animals used in entertainment. Life is better with animals, but for many busy people, looking at them through a screen is the closest they can get.

Previous research has shown sharks are attracted to heavy metal music, including AC/DC. "Interestingly, different animals (even within the same species) appear to respond to sounds differently", Dr. Blake Chapman, of Australia Geographic, stated in the press release. All proceeds will go to the Australian Marine Conservation Society, according to the event's website. Reservations can be made starting at 6 p.m. EDT on airbnb.com/KISS on October 14. KISS founding band members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons have also entered the culinary world by opening a string of successful restaurants aptly named Rock & Brews.
