Although former National Security Adviser John Bolton has kept a relatively low profile since his resignation in September, he hasn't exactly kept his thoughts on President Trump's foreign policy approach to himself.

A House Intelligence Committee official told them, "We regret Mr. Bolton's decision not to appear voluntarily, but we have no interest in allowing the administration to play rope-a-dope with us in the courts for months". Trump said he had fired him though Bolton said he'd resigned.

The report said Bolton did not discuss the impeachment proceedings or the Ukraine policy that led to them. He also criticized Trump's resistance to bipartisan support in Congress for sanctions on Turkey after Erdogan purchased the Russian S-400 missile system.

When asked about what could happen if Trump wins a second term, Bolton made a derisive remark about White House advisers Ivanka Trump, the president's daughter, her husband Jared Kushner, and Sen. He reportedly said he believes there is a personal or business relationship guiding Trump's approach to Turkey, as none of his advisers see eye-to-eye with the president on the issue.

Xiaomi records highest smartphone shipments, Samsung sees biggest fall: IDC
The company became the second-largest vendor in the fast-growing $300-500 segment on the back of its newly launched Reno 2 series. In contrast, Xiaomi dropped only 0.2% from 27.3% market share last year, but still shipped 1 million more smartphones this year.

President Donald Trump will welcome Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the White House on Wednesday just weeks after the authoritarian leader invaded Syria and attacked USA -allied Kurdish forces, unleashing fresh violence and chaos in the Middle East.

Bolton stated Trump could go complete isolationist - together with all the faction of the Republican Party that contrasts with Paul's foreign policy viewpoints taking over the GOP - also may draw the US out of North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and other foreign alliances, three people present for his opinions said. However, he said, they may convince the president to nominate a liberal to the Supreme Court in an effort to show they have real influence.

Those present said at the stage, the audience seemed shocked.
