The Philadelphia Flyers extended their winning streak to four games with a 3-2 shootout victory against the Boston Bruins at TD Garden on Sunday. Brad Marchand has collected 13 assists over the last 10 games for Boston. The rookie defenseman has a goal in three straight games.

The Bruins are 5-2-2 against Eastern Conference opponents.

Travis Konecny scored first at 13:50 of the first period to give the Flyers a 1-0 lead.

Danton Heinen cut the Philadelphia lead to 2-1 with a goal at 5:59 of the third. Backup goalie Brian Elliot is 3-2-1 on the year with a goals against average of 3.05. Boston received goals from David Krejci and Torey Krug but it wasn't enough to beat the Red Wings.

Jets' Bell sits out practice but could play vs. Giants
His son may play for the New York Giants , but Alibay Barkley - the father of Saquon Barkley - is a Jets fan through and through. Darnold was 7 of 7 for 63 yards, including an 18-yard completion to Crowder on third-and-11 to help keep the possession alive.

The matchup Sunday is the first meeting this season for the two teams. David Pastrnak leads the team with 15. The goalies for Boston have been strong all season as Rask is now 7-2-1 with a goals against average of 1.99.

Bruins: 6-2-2, averaging 4.2 goals, 6.6 assists, 4.5 penalties and 12.2 penalty minutes while giving up 2.8 goals per game with a.908 save percentage.

■ If Jake DeBrusk (lower body) and Brett Ritchie (illness) cannot play and both Par Lindholm and Joakim Nordstrom are not available, the Bruins could make a callup from AHL Providence. Since getting pulled after 28 minutes October 27 at the Islanders, the 21-year-old has been better, allowing seven goals on his last 100 shots (.930). It also helps that Boston is waiting at home and Philadelphia will have to travel after their game against Toronto on Saturday.
