That night, the backpacker was on a date with the accused person at SkyCity in Central Auckland after the duo met on social dating app Tinder.

His defence lawyers argue she died during consensual rough sex.

The 21-year-old marketing graduate had visited parts of South America, including Chile, Patagonia and Peru, before she disappeared shortly after arriving in New Zealand in November last year, David Millane said. It was the final message Grace sent to her family before her death.

The footage shown on Thursday began at 5.11pm and showed the defendant entering the Bluestone Room.

Backpacker Grace ended her Tinder date arm in arm with the accused.

Grace Millane's mother broke down and rushed out of the courtroom as the jury heard evidence about explicit photos taken of her daughter's body.

They headed to a burger bar inside Sky City Casino, before heading to a Mexican cafe and on to a bar for more drinks, a short walk from the accused's apartment on Queen St.

Mr McCoubrey said that the defendant had severally changed his story, initially saying that they had just had drinks and separately went home.

It is the last time she is seen alive.

The name of the accused killer has not been revealed by court order.

Memphis' coach, Penny Hardaway , is alleged to have assisted Wiseman and his family move to Memphis past year . The Tigers were ranked No. 15 in preseason, largely because of Wiseman's presence.

His team had looked at hundreds of hours of film captured over six days, he said.

The court has heard Ms Millane's body was carried out of the apartment in a large suitcase the following day.

The Crown has alleged that the man, who can not be named due to a suppression order, murdered the young woman from Wickford, Essex, and shoved her body inside a suitcase before burying her in a forested area outside Auckland.

Ms Millane told her friend in one text: "Literally I click with him so well".

Ms Ashcroft's statement said she "sensed Grace was having a good time and she seemed to be drunk and really enjoying herself", and that she did not have any concerns for her safety.

They are filmed hugging as they enter the CityLife hotel, where the defendant had an apartment, and head into the lift. 'Only two people know what happened in that room, one of them can't tell us, the other one hasn't told the truth, ' Mr McCoubrey told jurors.

But the Tinder date - who has pleaded not guilty - insists that Millane died by accident when they engaged in rough sex.

After hiring a rental auto, the accused then transported Millane's body to Scenic Drive and buried the suitcase in a shallow grave in the Waitākere Ranges, the court heard.

He went on a second Tinder date on 2 December before hiring a professional cleaning service.

Yesterday afternoon, the jury heard from the police officers who found Millane's body after polling data from the accused's phone led them to the area.
