Premier League title already out of Manchester United's reach, Solskjær admits

It's safe to say Manchester United have not had good performances during the league campaign.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rested some of his players for the Partizan Belgrade with the likes of David De Gea and Daniel James rested for the game against the Serbians in the Europa League.

The former Shakhtar Donetsk man has his eye on further cup success, but also identifies the need for United to be more consistent in the Premier League, starting on Sunday.

United have been joined by Liverpool in the race for the Brighton defender's signature, as the Premier League's elite clubs look to bolster their defensive options for the coming years.

Partizan might not be the toughest team to play against, but United have struggled in similar matchups earlier this season, so seeing them create chances and score goals was a nice change of pace.

They secured back to back wins over Partizan in the Europa League, beat Chelsea in the Carabao Cup, and also beat Norwich 3-1 in the Premier League.

Speaking in his post-match press conference, Solskjaer said "Hopefully Scott [will be fit]".

CNN Anchor Rips Sessions for Praising Trump: 'Where Are Your Balls, Sir?'
But I supported him not because of his personality, but because of his strong commitments to the values most Alabamians share. With those encouraging early results, you can expect Sessions to continue to throw himself prostrate at Trump's feet.

"Too many times we're 1-0 up and haven't got the second but these boys are learning and it will give them loads of pointers of how we play".

It would not be enough, however, as United held on to secure the three points and continue their record-breaking winning streak.

Manchester United and Brighton have played 21 times. The Red Devils would dominate possession, and the onus would be on them to create and score.

The Norwegian tactician has led the Red Devils to 10th spot on the Premier League table after four defeats from the first 11 games. Surprisingly, they are just five points above the relegation zone.

Entertainment in a Manchester United game isn't exactly a guarantee one way or another, and for that reason, we're going with the odds by suggesting it'll go for under 2.5 goals. They can't break down teams with the ball, so they're better off just not trying.

A game at home to a team like Brighton would've been viewed as a guaranteed win for Manchester United back in the day, but it no longer seems as if that's the case.
