The Knicks may want to keep RJ Barrett in bubble wrap, as another top pick goes down.

The Grizzlies said Saturday (Sunday, PHL time) in a release that Morant's status is considered "week-to-week".

The Memphis Grizzlies will have to survive a couple of games without their rookie point guard, Ja Morant, as the 20-year-old suffered an injury last Monday against the Utah Jazz.

HK protests continue as China slams United Nations commissioner's remarks
On Saturday night a video in Mongkok district showed a protester brutally assaulting a man as he attempted to clear a barricade. Demonstrators carried American flags and marched to the USA consulate on Sunday to thank America for approving the legislation.

Morant now joins Zion Williamson, the No. 1-overall pick, on the sidelines. He was expected to miss at least 6-8 weeks.

This is the first time that Morant has been diagnosed with back spasms but it isn't the first time that Morant has been rested, he sat out the second game of a back-to-back in mid-November for load management.

Morant will be listed as week-to-week due to aggravated back spasms, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. He's averaging 15.3 points to go along with 5.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists.
