José Mourinho has praised Dele Alli after the midfielder continued his uptick in form to score twice against Bournemouth.

The win marked a third-successive victory for the Portuguese since replacing Mauricio Pochettino and Mourinho said pushing Alli further up the pitch - a position he played in the early days under the Argentine coach - has been key. "I couldn't ask for more". '[Alli] is playing really, really well, scoring goals, assisting and working hard'.

Tottenham continued their flawless start under new manager Jose Mourinho as they beat Bournemouth 3-2 to move up to fifth in the Premier League table.

There was a late wobble as Bournemouth substitute Harry Wilson scored two goals and the home defence panicked, but Spurs had already done enough to secure another three points.

On Tuesday the new Spurs boss praised the ball boy after he returned the ball quickly ahead of a goal during the north London team's 4-2 comeback win against Olympiakos in the Champions League.

London suspect had terrorism conviction
Attention has swiftly turned to how Khan could have been released from prison after serving less than seven years of his sentence. A further three people - a man and two women - were also injured and remain in hospital, Assistant Commissioner Neil Basu said.

They will then prepare for their trip to Old Trafford to take on Mourinho's former club Manchester United next week.

He spent five-and-a-half years with Spurs, and saw the club establish themselves as top four regulars.

As for Jose it looks like things are looking really rosey in north London right now, the manager is all smiles and fist bumps, fans from many other clubs will be able to warn that it's unlikely to last very long.

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho says ball-boy Callum Hynes will be having lunch with him today.
