What had been rumored and then reported for quite some time is now official.

Safety Delarrin Turner-Yell has a broken collarbone and won't play in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl on December 28 against No. 1 LSU, a source confirmed to ESPN's Adam Rittenberg.

The Sooners' defense already was bracing for the loss of starting defensive end Ronnie Perkins, one of three players suspended earlier this week for the LSU game, sources confirmed to ESPN.

All three players have participated in every game for OU this season. They been suspended for undisclosed violations, according to Riley.
