Blue Jackets rally to beat Kings 3-2 on Dubois' OT goal

Will Butcher scored for the Devils and Gilles Senn, starting his first National Hockey League game, made 34 saves. The Devils lost their second game in two nights after falling 6-3 against Washington on Friday.

Not much has gone according to script this season in Columbus, but it played out that way on Saturday.

The New York Islanders will be trying to bounce back from their loss to the Anaheim Ducks when they take on the Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday night.

"We don't have an attacking mentality enough", Devils coach Alaine Nasreddine said.

It was a quick start for the Blue Jackets. Bjorkstrand got a pass from the wall from Boone Jenner and combined it with a one-timer from the high slot for his 11th goal of the season.

Oliver Bjorkstrand scored on the game's first shot, only 26 seconds into the first period, to get the Jackets off and running.

Game notes Columbus was without forward Cam Atkinson, who sustained a lower-body injury in Thursday's overtime win against Los Angeles.

Senn was busy most of the night, but he managed to keep the Devils within striking distance through the final minutes of the games. The Regina, Saskatchewan native has posted 15-93-108 with 104 penalty minutes and a +15 plus/minus rating in 344 career games with the Jackets since being selected second overall at the 2012 NHL Draft. He has seven points in his past five. I think this game will be close, but ultimately I believe that NY wins due to Columbus having many injuries at the moment.

Following an off day on Sunday, they will visit the Chicago Blackhawks at 8:30 p.m.
