Baylor battled back in the second quarter, opening a one-point lead heading into halftime.

Baylor (12-1) led the fourth quarter with three goals, and in the first few minutes of the final phase neither team could go on the offensive. The Bears took over, going on a 19-4 run to close the game and walk out with a 74-58 win. Smith scored six points and Cooper had a pair of fast-break layups on assists from Cox after the 6-foot-4 preseason All-America post grabbed defensive rebounds and quickly pushed the ball ahead. "I'd like to tell you we made a change and I was a genius". "This is one of the tests you have to take, one every month".

Vivian Gray and Natasha Mack both had 15 points for Oklahoma State (10-5, 1-2).

BUSY MONTH: UConn has three more games against ranked teams coming up over the next few weeks with No. 23 Tennessee coming to CT on January 23 in the first matchup of the former rivals since 2007.

"We became very vulnerable in a hurry", Oklahoma State coach Jim Littell said.

The Lady Bears also beat UConn last season when the Huskies were ranked No. 1. "She'll get better", Auriemma said.

Backstage Update On Tyson Fury's WWE Future
Tyson Fury last appeared on WWE programming during the November 8th episode of SmackDown that emanated from Manchester, England. The Gypsy King defeated Braun Strowman in Saudi Arabia, but was upset that he will have more than one match in the WWE.

Oklahoma State: Gray certainly was a focus of the Baylor defense and had another tough day shooting, going 5 of 20 from the field.

UConn (12-1) did not score a basketball for Williams' jumper until Crystal Dangerfield hit a 3-pointer in the last minute and decided the game. She has scored in double figures in 40 consecutive games.

The Lady Bears extended that lead to 55-52 after three quarters. Gray was averaging 20.1 points a game.

(19) MICHIGAN 84, PURDUE 78: Zavier Simpson scored 22 points, Jon Teske added 18 and Michigan's seniors made big shots late as the Wolverines (11-4, 2-2 Big Ten) outlasted the Boilermakers (9-7, 2-3) in double overtime in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It will be interesting to see how things all shake out since No. 2 OR also lost this week. On February 3, the huskies encounter OR number 2 and fourth in SC on February 10.

(23) WICHITA STATE 76, (21) MEMPHIS 67: Jamarius Burton scored 16 points to lead the Shockers (14-1, 2-0 American Athletic Conference) past the Tigers (12-3, 1-1) in Wichita, Kansas. And some of the best regular-season matchups await, starting Thursday night when No. 6 Baylor visits No. 1 UConn (7 p.m. ET, ESPN).
