Inter Milan announce Christian Eriksen signing

Eriksen inked a permanent deal with Inter Milan which will keep him at the San Siro until June 30, 2024.

"Christian Dannemann Eriksen is officially a new Inter player".

Eriksen said in the off-season that he might want a new challenge after six years at Tottenham.

Christian Eriksen, 27, has signed a contract until 2024 with the Italian giants after the clubs reached an agreement for a reported transfer fee of €20 million (£17 million, $22 million).

The midfielder has been available for a relatively cheap sum for most of the season given his contract was running down, but Madrid opted not to go ahead with a transfer as they already had enough numbers in the middle of the park. "We wish you all the best for the future".

Zidane is also thought to be keen on giving youth stars a chance at the Bernabeu and the signing of Eriksen would have made it harder for the likes of Martin Odegaard to break through next season.

U.S. Supreme Court allows Trump's 'public charge' immigration curb
US immigration law has long required officials to exclude people likely to become a " public charge " from permanent residency. The Trump administration lauded the decision, and argued the lower court injunctions were an example of judicial overreach.

" It's now time to start a new challenge, I'm really happy to have the opportunity to play in Serie A for a big team".

'I couldn't wait to get there, being here is attractive and I'm happy to be a new Inter player.

Eriksen, who made 305 appearances in total for Spurs and netted 69-times, joined the club from Ajax in August 2013.

Eriksen was a key part of the side that reached last season's Champions League final and finished in the top four of the Premier League for the past four seasons under Mauricio Pochettino.

"I'm very excited and can't wait to introduce myself to the fans", Eriksen said.

Inter Milan have signed five players among Eriksen from the English clubs since Antonio Conte took charge of the club: Victor Moses, Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez and Ashley Young.
