Various milk products recalled due to sanitizer contamination



Agropur Cooperative is recalling certain milk products from the marketplace due to the presence of sanitizer.

The recall involves Sealtest skim milk, 1%, 2% and 3.25% milk with best before dates of February 8.

It also involves the L'ecole, c'est nourissant brand's two per cent milk in 150 ml cartons, also with the February 8 best before date.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says consumption may cause nausea, upset stomach or vomiting. Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.

This recall was triggered by the company.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has already taken part in 13 food recalls this year. The agency will determine if there are other products that need to be removed and will verify that the proper items have been removed from stores.
