Smith opened the performance with a short poem, in which she listed the chaos engulfing the world, while ending on a hopeful note: "Yet I still think that / Something wonderful is about to happen / Maybe tomorrow / Tomorrow following a whole succession of tomorrows".

The Bad Boys For Life star joined Jimmy Fallon on Thursday's The Tonight Show, and the two rapped a marvellous and shockingly extensive history of Smith's great career throughout all these years. And, he explained why it has taken 17 years to make the third film in the franchise. However, one of the biggest mistakes of his time in Hollywood (apart from continuing to make Matrix) could well be the aftermath of his hit movie Men in black.

Smith then proceeded to throw his previous sequels below the bus, saying, "I had fumbled a couple of my final sequels., I wasn't joyful with the "Males in Black" sequel". The original Bad Boys was released in 1995, followed by Bad Boys II in 2003. "But a real big star need a real big screen / So I had to spread my wings if you know what I mean", Will said, before recounting some of his blockbuster movies like "Bad Boys", "Men In Black", and "Independence Day". "Will rocked the house 'til it turned to rubble/ Every time I told y'all 'girls ain't nothing but trouble, '" they rapped in reference to his 1987 song. The Hollywood Reporter claims Smith and Fallon kicked off the clip about his life earlier than getting a spot on the aforementioned tv collection.
