A Newcastle United player who scored a stunning goal to win an FA Cup tie has tweeted his surprise after a fan appeared to pull his trousers down live on TV during raucous celebrations.

The Magpies will face Championship leaders West Brom in the next round, a much trickier tie for Steve Bruce after back-to-back League One opponents.

The 22-year-old rifled home a fierce strike in extra time to seal victory at the Kassam Stadium and send Newcastle through the to the fifth round of the FA Cup for the first time in 14 years.
