Their sister, Rita Fusco-Jackson, died last Friday and later tested positive for the virus. Shortly afterward, the family learned she had coronavirus. "They didn't deserve this, they're too young", she said. "Gravely ill" and breathing through a ventilator, the mom of 11 and grandmother of 27 was not aware that two of her children have already died from COVID-19.

Grace Fusco, 73, died after being diagnosed.

Fusco and her remaining family are now hoping and praying that they can grieve in peace, and that matters won't get any worse.

State Health Commissioner Judy Persichilli said the drive-thru would prioritize symptomatic health care workers and first responders.

"This is an unbearable tragedy for the family", Paradiso Fodera told CNN.

One of Fusco-Jackson's nieces, Gabby Cartagena, who goes by Gabba Gunga on Facebook, of Howell, New Jersey, registered her shock and grief in a Facebook post on Wednesday. "I can not emphasize enough how important it is to take personal responsibility and avoid even small meetings", said Judith M. Persichilli, the state's health commissioner.

A Monmouth County family has now lost a fourth member to the novel coronavirus. "This is a public health crisis", said Paradiso Fodera.

The death toll for coronavirus in the USA has risen to 150, and least 427 people have been infected across the country. According to the latest data, 100,770 cases and 3,412 COVID-19-related deaths have been reported worldwide since March 6.
