This is due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the company said, extending its operations pause from April 30 for another month. In one release, the Holland America Line brand said all departures scheduled through March 14 are now canceled.

"If you have an impacted sailing, you will have received an email direct from Carnival or your Travel Advisor", read a notice to customers. Holland America Line will reimburse cancellation fees for air and other arrangements for travel to and from the cancelled cruise (this does not apply to chartered sailings).

DeWine: FDA Limiting Use of Battelle Tech is 'Reckless'
Battelle had planned to ship four more units elsewhere in the US next week and 15 additional machines in the coming weeks. Machines would have also been dispatched to the state of Washington and Washington D.C., the governor said.

MSC Cruises has chose to further extend the pause of its cruise operation through May 29, according to a statement. The cruise lines said it is trying to provide as much time as possible so travel agents and cruisers can make changes to their future cruises. The new extension impacts all sailings around the world and MSC is working "tirelessly" with all guests to address their impacted bookings. Guests will be contacted and be able to choose either a full refund or a future cruise credit for 125 per cent of the booking value, along with a $250 shipboard credit, says a release from the company. For cruises that were scheduled for six days or more, guests can receive a $600 onboard credit per stateroom.

Carnival, Holland America Line, MSC Cruises and Seabourn each request to not call their respective reservation centers or offices, due to high call volume or closed offices.
