And now-when most of us are just starting to adjust to the idea (and battery drain) of high refresh rate displays on smartphones-Nubia has just launched the first phone with a 144Hz display: the Nubia Red Magic 5G.

The Snapdragon 865 processor also imbues the RedMagic 5G with 5G compatibility, so you can play online games with as little lag as possible while on the move.

Right off the bat, you can notice that Nubia has polished the design but still kept most of the gaming-centric elements intact. The Red Magic 5G does exactly that and takes it a notch higher with its multi-colored, multi-textured rear finish.

So, what's inside this new gaming smartphone from Nubia, which also happens to be the successor to the past year released Nubia Red Magic 3.

Nubia's latest gaming smartphone features a 6.65 inch, 2340 x 1080 pixel AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, a 340 Hz touch sampling rate, and no camera notch or punch hole. The panel has 19.5:9 aspect ratio and supports the MEMC motion compensation technology. There is an in-display fingerprint reader as well. The front-facing selfie camera uses an 8MP sensor. It rocks a Snapdragon 865 along with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of on-board storage. The company confirmed the same, along with the chart-topping AnTuTu score a couple of weeks ago. The device has dual-mode 5G connectivity and faster Wi-Fi 6 support. While a lot of them for consumer-focused phones, here comes the new gaming-centric smartphone from none other than Nubia.

Brazil's Flamengo are the reigning Copa Libertadores champions after beating River Plate of Argentina in the 2019 final in Lima. Currently, Liverpool leads the league with a 25 point advantage over Manchester City, in second place.

To keep the SoC and internal hardware cool during extended gaming sessions, it features a cooling fan that can spin at up to 15,000 RPM. That is further claimed to be reducing heat dissipation and also can bring down CPU temperatures up to 18-degrees.

The best gaming phones also feature extra inputs, and the Red Magic 5G features two capacitive shoulder keys akin to the Asus ROG Phone series at first glance. This is the very first time that the company has opted for a multi-camera setup.

Going around the aluminum back, we find the 64MP Sony IMX686 main camera which is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide snapper and 2MP macro shooter.

You also get a Adreno 650 GPU, 4,500 mAh of battery capacity (with up to 55W charging), a refreshed liquid cooling system.

As for the pocket-pinch, the Red Magic 5G starts at CNY 3,799 (approximately Rs. 40,300) for the entry-level 8GB/128GB variant and goes up to CNY 4,999 (roughly Rs. 53,000) for the top-end model with 16GB/256GB configuration. There are three colour options namely, Hacker Black, Mars Red, Cyber Neon, as well as a transparent edition.
