PSL to go on despite foreign players leaving

As the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has chose to go on with the tournament behind closed doors, it is likely that they would continue even with the biggest foreign stars, which could decrease the overall attraction of the competition.

Kaleem made those remarks while attending the Peshawar Zalmi versus Multan Sultans fixture of PSL 2020 in Karachi on Friday as PCB's guest for the segment "Hamaray Heroes".

Recently, Bangladesh had toured Pakistan twice. It understood that final part of Bangladesh's tour of Pakistan will be shelved until the situation is better and that the two countries can find a common window later to play the matches.

"The final will be played on 18 March and will start at 7pm".

As things stand, Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United are the only teams unchanged with their players staying on for the rest of the tournament. "BCB won't agree to a last minute venue change as that would increase security concerns", he concluded.

The biggest cricket league in the world, Indian Premier League (IPL), has been suspended till April 15. The Test series between England and Sri Lanka even met a similar fate.

CD Projekt RED now licenses two franchises-The Witcher and Cyberpunk-so it makes sense to bounce back and forth between the IPs. V still looks like the hardened citizen of Night City we've seen in other trailers and screenshots, with a few key differences.

The decision came hours after the PCB said that the PSL will continue on schedule despite several overseas players preferring to leave for home immediately due to the coronavirus threat.

The PCB had endorsed the Sindh government's decision and the board's chief executive had also said that they were in consultation with the Punjab government over holding the remaining matches without spectators.

The decision was taken after a conference call with the team owners on Friday. "Fresh directives are coming everyday on travel and guidelines on what to do and not if you are going anywhere", BCB high-up added.

It said it was monitoring the situation closely with the concerned agencies and so far no player or official has tested positive for the dreaded virus in the league.

The PSL has scrapped its four-match play-off, turning the knockout stage into a two-day affair with semi-finals and a final, as the league copes with the impact of the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) outbreak.

There have been more than 128,000 cases and 4,700 deaths globally since the virus outbreak started late past year.
