Ravens' trade for Calais Campbell looks like an absolute steal

Campbell will be sent to Baltimore in exchange for a fifth-round draft pick, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

If the Jacksonville Jaguars offseason wasn't already insane, it just got a little crazier.

With Calais Campbell being arguably the best free-agent signing in team history, this move clearly is about freeing up cap space.

Three new coronavirus cases bring total to 24 in Oregon
Once other labs start testing people who otherwise have been tested, the number of confirmed cases is expected to spike. The Oregon Health Authority says none of the new cases involved travel to a country where there is an active outbreak.

The Ravens will attempt to extend Campbell as well. In fact, Campbell ranked as the second-highest graded edge defender by Pro Football Focus out of the 107 qualified players.

Last season, the Ravens had virtually no pass-rush presence on the interior of the defensive line. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the two sides are finalizing a two-year, $27 million extension for the defensive lineman to stay in Baltimore.

The Jacksonville Jaguars continue to wheel-and-deal this offseason. The Ravens had the Vikings' pick due to an August trade for kicker/punter Kaare Vedvik. Even their $88 million quarterback Nick Foles, who broke his collarbone in the first game of the season only to lose his starting job not long after returning, is on the trade block. But for a team that can never seem to get out of its own way, can there ever be too many draft picks?
