In order to help jog her memory, the actress made a decision to use her time in self-isolation to binge-watch the entire series.

Courteney, 55, who played clean-freak Monica Geller, told chatshow host Jimmy Kimmel she was watching her own work while self-isolating at home in California.

Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel for his Quarantine Minilogue series on YouTube, the star revealed that she's made a decision to revisit the series because of how little she remembers and how often people want to talk to her about the sitcom. "I remember certain times in my life where I was there, but I don't remember episodes". I would never pass.

Due to her foggy recollection, Cox said she gets stressed out when people ask her to answer questions about Friends.

During an appearance Wednesday night on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" - conducted via video call during the coronavirus lockdown - the actress fielded questions about HBO Max's upcoming "Friends" reunion special, which was postponed indefinitely due to the global coronavirus pandemic.

The news gave Kimmel the ideal in: why not play a round of Friends trivia to pass the time?

The actress didn't even know who her character's first kiss had been with. The life I was there, but I don't remember episodes ... 'I just started season 1.

Cox arrives on Kimmel's virtual set at the 7:30 minute mark.

Later in the segment, the "Cougar Town" alum proved just how limited her "Friends" knowledge is by going head to head in a trivia match against a superfan - who also happened to be Kimmel's cousin.
