Flav, writing on Twitter at the time, suggested he was sacked because he refused to appear with the group at a rally for U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.

The official dismissal occured after Flava Flav had previously taken umbrage with Chuck D over a Bernie Sanders rally, where Chuck D wanted to perform under the group's name, despite Flav's refusal to take part.

"Flavor doesn't know the difference between Bernie Sanders, Barry Sanders or Colonel Sanders", Chuck said, adding: "We already talked about this beforehand".

The pair have been working together in secret and Flavor Flav appears on Food As A Machine Gun, the lead single from Chuck D's new album with his Enemy Radio project, out on Wednesday. I'm like, "Good move.' Then publicly, "Man you don't f**kin" sue me gain.' He ain't suin" me. "Sanders claims to represent everyman not the man yet his grossly irresponsible handling of Chuck's endorsement threatens to divide Public Enemy and, in so doing, forever silence one of our nation's loudest and most enduring voices for social change", the letter continued.

"Not to say that me and Flav were on two different pages", Chuck clarifies in the above video clip from the episode. I'm saying that the original intention is to get your attention and not play attention. In early March the feud between Flavor Flav and Chuck D reached it's climax when Public Enemy announced that they would be booting Flavor Flav from the group.

Flavor Flav being removed from Public Enemy may have been a hoax, but the release of their album is confirmed and true.

Harbhajan, Yuvraj trolled by fans
'These are testing times, it's time to look out for each other, ' Yuvraj wrote on Twitter in a call for funds. He urged everyone to support Afridi's foundation.

Chuck D said Flav can't be fired from Public Enemy because he's a partner in the group. In the press release, Chuck D announced that Public Enemy Radio is know known as Enemy Radio.

Editor's Note: Yes, we realize that it is April 1. "It's April Flav Chuck Day".

Public Enemy's statement reads, "Public Enemy and Public Enemy Radio will be moving forward without Flavor Flav".

It detailed the apparent conflict, which saw Chuck D implying Flav cared only about money and partying, and Flav countering that he wasn't an employee and couldn't be fired. Public Enemy released a statement announcing that Flav was sacked, and Flav responded by criticizing Chuck on social media.

Chuck D also admitted to using a political stage as a part of Public Enemy's strategic promotional tactic. The planned performance will only be Chuck D of Public Enemy, it will not be a performance by Public Enemy.

At the time of publication, Flavor Flav has yet to address Chuck's statements, the new album, or the song. "That authenticity compels him to speak out to ensure voters are not misled and that Public Enemy's music does not become the soundtrack of a fake revolution".
