Facebook's Tuned App is For Couples a Private Social Network to Communicate Your Feelings

San Francisco: Facebook has quietly launched a new app just for couples who can connect to each other intimately like a personal dating app especially in these social distancing times in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic. Tuned is built by the NPE Team, from Facebook. It's all presented in a stylistically unique, scrapbook-like way, so that it doesn't feel like yet another sterile messaging app. Facebook's NPE Team, makers of this app, are focused on creating new products of experimental nature, and thus, their works could be shut down promptly if not successful.

Currently, the couple-only app doesn't appear much different from other such relationship apps where people can chat directly with one another.

Instead Tuned has the same data policy as Facebook, which allows the company to collect commutations and other behaviour to target advertising at the user.

Facebook did not respond to the BBC request for comment about the launch of Tuned.

OnePlus officially confirms wireless charging is coming
Fortunately, OnePlus says those wanting to use third-party Qi charging pads can do so too - albeit at a minimum speed of 5W. The highly effective charge pump ensures a charge efficiency of 97% and minimizes the amount of energy converted into heat.

The app is now only available in United States of America and Canada, and only for iOS.

Yes, after dating, Facebook now wants to take care of our couple's happiness. It has launched a dating service to rival Tinder and Bumble in 20 countries so far. And by the description of the app, we assume it is meant for couples who already know each other, perhaps even live together and shouldn't really need an app to communicate. The issue is Facebook doesn't have a default experimentation app anymore, and so these NPE team releases kind of force Facebook to get by with less user data and make judgment calls on how fast functionality can develop when starting from a standstill.

The couple can send each memos or voice notes with photos on any messaging app. Its goal is to create new social media services. "We chose to use this separate brand name to help set the appropriate expectations with users that NPE Team apps will change very rapidly and will be shut down if we learn that they're not useful to people".
