Listen to Colin Cowherd report the developing story around the possible exodus of Odell Beckham Jr from the Cleveland Browns, as the star-studded receiver is coming off the worst statistical season of his career for a Browns team who could try to part ways with the expensive 27-year-old after just one season. A few other prominent National Football League insiders have since shot down those rumors, but that doesn't mean OBJ is still safe. "So, yeah, it's completely false".

Chief strategy officer Paul DePodesta confirmed Cleveland's unwillingness to deal Beckham while speaking to reporters on Thursday. "The idea that we'd take away from that core doesn't make sense and is not something we're exploring".

On Saturday, Mike Freeman of Bleacher Report dropped a report where sources informed him that while Odell might not be heading to the Vikings, he will be heading somewhere and it has everything to do with him not being a good fit.

As long as there are no further issues over the next two months, his slate will be clean. Becton did not have any failed drug tests in college at Louisville .

DePodesta emphasized that there are certain players the Browns are looking to build around, and that they have not explored a trade for the three-time Pro Bowl receiver. But moreso because of his lack of chemistry with quarterback Baker Mayfield.

Despite breaking the 1,000-yard barrier, Beckham did not live up to the wild expectations set for him, finishing his first season in Cleveland with 1,035 yards and four touchdowns in a year that was defined more by what happened off the field than on it.
