After the ex-New England Patriots gunslinger was tagged as conflicting with Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, the 42-year-old six-time Super Bowl champion shot down the rumors.

New York Daily News reporter Gary Myers said earlier Monday that Brady had a deteriorating relationship with McDaniels.

Brady shared a screenshot of a story about the "deteriorated" relationship with McDaniels, writing on his Instagram that it's "nonsense" and he called for "responsible" reporting. But the two have maintained a close relationship for more than a decade, which explains why Brady had such a strong reaction to this particular report.

Cuomo: Parts of Upstate New York Ready to Reopen by May 15

Thanks to a twist in the National Football League schedule, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Patriots won't play at same time until Week 15, something that people wondered about - could it be a deliberate attempt to help folks missing Brady to get to watch the GOAT?

McDaniels has held some sort of role on the Patriots staff for all but 3 years since 2001. and has been Brady's offensive coordinator for most of those seasons. But Brady's decision to leave was probably due to a confluence of factors.
