As we reported earlier today here on eWn (see below), Jose A. Rodriguez Chucuan (Alberto Del Rio) has been arrested for an alleged sexual assault.

Additional details have emerged following the arrest of Alberto Del Rio.

Jose Alberto Rodruiguez Chucuan, better known to wrestling fans as Alberto Del Rio was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman. According to investigators, he punched her in the back during the assault; the victim said she does not remember much after he placed his hand around her throat. The woman had injuries visible consistent with her account, police said. According to a report from My News 4 San Antonio, the woman gave a written statement to police and said Chucuan allegedly sexually assaulted her and had her injuries photographed.

Del Rio was arrested on Saturday and has been charged with sexual assault, which is a second-degree felony.

According to News 4, Rodriguez Chucuan has been charged with Sexual Assault and his bond was set at $50,000.

Alberto Del Rio also faced domestic abuse charges after an incident with WWE Superstar Paige on July 9th, 2017.

The victim told police that they walked downstairs and he forced her to put on a dress and dance for him.

After posting $5,000 bond, Del Rio was released from custody the same day.

In 2016 he was suspended by the WWE for violation of the company's wellness policy. El Patron (9-6 MMA), who had not fought since 2010, was submitted by UFC Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz at the 3:10 mark of the opening round.
