Elon Musk and musician Grimes welcome baby

People thought they had seen the worst of celebrity baby names but, obviously, Elon Musk had been planning this one for months and couldn't wait to get it off.

Musk's girlfriend Grimes, welcomed her first child, according to the New York Post's Page Six. The X refers to "the unknown variable" and Æ refers to her Elvin spelling of Ai, which means love and/or artificial intelligence.

Musk tweeted on Monday night that "Mom and baby all good".

India set to begin 'massive' coronavirus repatriation mission
On the fourth and seventh and last day of the proposed evacuation, about 1,800 people each will be brought back. We have been pleading with the government to allow at least limited flights to enable us to go home.

"A-12" is an military airplane reference, Grimes (real name Claire Boucher) explained. No weapons, no defenses, just speed. "Great in battle, but non-violent + (A=Archangel, my favorite song) (⚔️ metal rat)", she wrote. And so of course the internet bound together for a glorious 12 hours to meme the shit out of this newborn's name.

It's hard to tell whether Musk will really name the child X Æ A-12 as the entrepreneur is quite the prankster. The leading theory is that it is sounds like Sasha Archangel, with the Æ ligature representing "ash". The singer revealed her pregnancy in January on Instagram.

On May 1, Musk tweeted that the Tesla stock price was too high in his opinion.
