It's been a while since we started reporting about the Honor X10, the newest budget handset from Huawei-owned Honor. The company is pushing Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) ecosystem with the Honor 9X Pro in India, and it will be interesting to see how consumers feel about it. The smartphone comes in Midnight Black and Phantom Purple.

The Honor 9X Pro is priced at Rs. 17,999 for the solo 6GB/128GB model. In this article, we are trying to see the major differences and similarities between the Honor 9X Pro and the Honor 9X. The front camera on the phones is a 16MP pop-up selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture. The company will also offer a discount of Rs. 3,000 and no-cost EMI options for up to six months for customers participating in the early sale. Huawei's in-house AppGallery will be pre-loaded on the Honor 9X Pro, making it the first phone in India to do so. As for availability, the company has said that the handset will go on sale as part of a Special Early Access Sale between May 21-22 on Flipkart.

The Honor 9X will run on the AOSP program instead of full-fledged Android with Google services.

The Honor 9X Pro operates on the Android 9 Pie OS with EMUI 9.1 custom skin on top. Honor 9X Pro is powered by 7nm Kirin 810 chipset and offers 6 GB RAM and 256 GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 615 GB via a microSD card. Also, this device comes with GPU Turbo 3.0 and Liquid cooling technology to offer better gaming performance and keep the phone under controlled temperature.

The Honor 9X Pro packs a 4,000mAh battery that is rated to last for a day on a single charge. It has a side-mounted fingerprint reader which also doubles up as a power button. Besides, the phone measures 163.5x77.3x8.8mm and weighs 202 grams.
