Further, all iPhone 12 models will boast OLED displays, which is worth noting given that the entry-level iPhone 11 previous year shipped with an LCD display.

Multiple sources have indicated that Apple is considering expanding its ProMotion technology to the iPhone, allowing for a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz for smoother motion content and greater responsiveness. Apple's 120Hz ProMotion display, however, has always been a glaring exception to the rule.

When it makes sense to conserve battery, 60Hz mode will be used, and 120Hz will be used for situations where a higher refresh rate offers significant functional benefits.

According to a report by EverythingApplePro (via leaker Max Weinbach), the upcoming iPhone 12 Pro will have a 120Hz display, just like Samsung's Galaxy S20 and OnePlus 8 phones. This phone supposedly features largely the same specs as the iPhone 12, including 4GB of RAM and the same storage options as the above, but it sports a 6.1-inch display.

In terms of the camera Weinbach claims that the iPhone 12 Pro models will feature a 3x telephoto zoom lens, improved Smart HDR software, even better low-light performance, auto white balance improvements, sensor-shift (i.e. IBIS) image stabilization, and a 2x to 3x boost in autofocus performance thanks to the LiDAR sensor that everyone expects to see on both of the Pro models-similar to the sensor on the newest iPad Pro.

There have also been rumblings that the iPhone 12 might include the ability to take video in portrait mode.

"The iPhone 12 Pro Max will have a 6.7" display and the same type of screen and its base price is $1099.

The other iPhone 12 will reportedly have a 6.1-inch display, while the two iPhone 12 smartphones will have 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays respectively.

All that said, the flagship feature of the iPhone 12 will be its support of 5G.
