Flacco, 35, agreed Friday to a one-year contract with the Jets, his representatives announced.

The New York Jets are adding a big name to their roster, signing Joe Flacco to a one-year contract.

After Flacco went down with an injury, the Broncos turned to Brandon Allen for three games while then-rookie Drew Lock recovered from a thumb injury. Denver released Flacco with a failed physical designation in March, and he is expected to be out until around September 1.

Flacco spent 2019 in Denver, where he was acquired via trade to be the starter but suffered a neck injury that robbed him of the second half of his season and any chance to stick around with the Broncos. Flacco is far from the Super Bowl MVP he was back in 2013, but he might still have enough in the tank to help the Jets in a time of need.

Sony claims that PS5 will be 100 times faster than PS4 | Clocked
In the past, we've heard Microsoft is taking steps to avoid what happened in 2013, with the release of the Xbox One and the PS4. Despite a somewhat negative aura surrounding the launch of its next-gen console, Sony has kept tight-lipped about it.

With Flacco in the mix, the Jets suddenly have a crowded quarterbacks room that includes Darnold, David Fales, Mike White and James Morgan, who was drafted in the fourth round as a developmental arm out of FIU. Trevor Siemian took over, but lasted just over a quarter, injuring an ankle and missing the rest of the season.

Selected 18th overall by the Ravens in 2008, Flacco has a career regular-season record of 98-73 with more than 40,000 yards passing, 218 touchdowns and 141 interceptions.

"I'm probably a little bit more anxious about other things at this point", Flacco said on December 30.
