Currently, there are no devices that have been announced with the previous Dimensity 1000 chipset but it could be likely due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The new 5G MediaTek chip offers optimizations for faster update speeds and comes with features like HyperEngine 2.0, UltraSave Technologies and MiraVision Picture Quality Engine support.

Vivo spin-off iQOO has already announced that it'll launch a phone with the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+. This technology automatically switches between the networks and dynamically adjusts working mode of the modem. The engine is responsible for the whole chipset and scales the CPU and GPU frequencies manage RAM and ensure optimal performance.

MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ seems to be one of the important game founders of the industry with its advanced performance, 5G support and high refresh rate support. The company also backported their proprietary "AI PQ" tech from Smart TVs to smartphone displays via the new chipset to "enhance the picture quality of 4K videos and streams in real time".
