The Beloved, Long-Missing Hidden Blade Instakill Returns to Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla

Assassins Creed Valhalla next gameplay reveal

Assassins Creed Valhalla next gameplay reveal

Between the previously revealed details on Valhalla's power-based progression system (as opposed to traditionally numbered leveling) and today's skill-based hidden blade news, so far it sounds as though Ubisoft is shaking things up in a way that should appease fans of the series both old and new. The Sunday stream will start at 3PM ET / 12 PM PT. Whatever games may be shown at the event, which, presumably given its name, is looking forward at games to come, the company did confirm earlier this year that it has five AAA games set to launch between the end of 2020 and the beginning of 2021. Ismail says there are "tendrils of the lore" connected to the earlier games, and says the Valhalla team have "tried to anchor this game deep into the franchise".

Despite the huge gulf in CPU and GPU horsepower between Xbox One X and Xbox Series X, the next-gen version of Assassin's Creed Valhalla will still run at the same framerate.

Treasurer Josh Frydenberg Tested For COVID-19 After Coughing Outburst In Parliament
In a statement this afternoon Mr Frydenberg said as a matter of precaution he will isolate while he awaits test results. The treasurer said he "immediately left parliament house to be tested and will await the result in isolation".

The news was first spotted by GameNotify on Twitter, which included a link to Assassin's Creed Valhalla's store page on the German Ubisoft Store site. "The idea that a Norse person or a Viking is in a place that they're not wanted, for them to sort of go incognito and kind of hide in the crowd, if you will, made a lot of sense", said Ismail. If we are lucky, we might even see more Beyond Good and Evil 2 and Skulls & Bones.
